The evaluations can very in length, based on complexity of the case and the age of the child, with the typical range of face-to-face testing time being 3-6 hours.

The cost of evaluations ranges from $2,000 to $3,000. The cost of the evaluation package includes not only the time spent directly with your child, but also a thorough interview with parents, the cost of the testing materials, consulting with teachers or other relevant caregivers/providers, time scoring the tests, case conceptualization, a written report with recommendations tailored to your child’s needs, a feedback session with parents to review all tests data and education regarding any appropriate diagnoses, and a short feedback session with teenagers regarding their results can also be included.

  • Pediatric Oncology Patients

    Neuropsychological Evaluation

After completing treatment for cancer, neurocognitive evaluation is recommended with the goal of lessening the influence of brain dysfunction on academic and social outcomes.

Depending on the type of cancer, surgeries, chemotherapy, and other interventions can directly impact the developing brain. In order to provide targeted interventions in academic and therapeutic settings, a thorough evaluation of cognitive functioning assesses potential areas of weakness. Follow-up evaluations can help in fine-tuning the interventions as on-going intervention and support may be needed.
